  • Forever Young: Our speaker for January was Vincent Caraffi from the Board of Health. He gave a very interesting talk on hoarding. The speaker for the Fe. 9th meeting will be from the Automobile Club. Tickets for our St. Patrick's Day party will be for sale at our Feb. meeting for $100.00. If you want to be on Lolly the Trolley for the Parade the cost is $15.00 if you are boarding from the Club, or $10.00 if you are boarding from St. Colman's. Please contact Mary Ellen Grealis for tickets 440-235-6528.
  • Forever Young: Our Christmas party was held on December 8. It was a very enjoyable event: great food provided by P.T. O'Malley, good friends and loads of door prizes. Scott Brotherton did a wonderful job entertaining us. Thank you to the committee! Our next meeting will be January 12th. Hope to see you there!
  • Forever Young: At our September meeting the entertainment was Billy Fischer, a vocal impressionist.  Jim Gaffrey tells us he will have another nice surprise for us for our October 13th meeting.  Jerry Gaughan won the membership drawing.  It is not too soon to think about our Christmas Party on Thursday December 8th.  Door prize contributions are needed.  If you can help, contact Janet Saringer at 440-779-5029.
  • NOMINATION RESULTS FOR TRUSTEES:  All 6 trustees up for re-election were nominated and are unopposed, therefore there will be no elections needed at the October meeting.  We will have nominations for Club Officers, from the current 18 trustees, at the October Meeting.
  • Forever Young: Our picnic August 11th was great - the weather cooperated.  P.T. O'Malley wad wonderful food for us.  Our thanks go out to Janet Saringer, Mary Ellen and Mickey Grealis, Marge Lavelle and Mary Napier for all their hard work to complete the day.  NOTE:  Mary Ellen Grealis is having a gambling trip to Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh on Tuesday October 14th.  Cost of the trip is $27.00 which includes $15 free play and $5.00 food.  Contact Mary Ellen Grealis at the club for more information.
  • The September 15, 2011 General Meeting will have nominations for 6 trustees for a 3 year term starting on January 1, 2012.  The Trustees whose terms end December 31st and are running for re-election are: Jim Caffrey, Pat Leneghan, Kevin McDonough, Mike McGuire, Bill Rice and Maureen Rice.
  • Ceili dance lessons begin again on Thursday Sept, 8, 2011, at 7:00 PM.  For more information call Una Ellis, 440 748 3562 .
  • Desperately Needed... A Few Good Men and Women:  Our Tuesday Maintenance Crew has lost some members and would be very grateful for your help.  For more information on the Maintenance Crew or to volunteer, call John O'Brien or just show up at the Club on a Tuesday morning around 10:00 AM.
