Ceili & Social Dance Lessons

Adult Ceili and Social dances of Ireland lessons. 

No classes for the summer. Will resume in September. Held on Thursdays (except meeting night) from 7:00 to 9:00pm.

Bicycles Needed

The Telephone Pioneer’s Recyclist Program takes in bicycles of any size (however 20” bikes are especially needed) they repair, paint and renovates them. The team then uses these refurbished bikes as rewards for children by giving them a chance to win a bike if they do well in school and meet the standards set for attendance, grades and citizenship. The program also provide the opportunity for students to receive hands on instructions on how to maintain their bicycles from the team.

Please help encourage children to do well in school and to see that there are rewards for doing well. Please donate a bike or two. You can drop off bikes at the Club or call Josephine Caffrey at 440-333-4992 to arrange to have them picked up at your home or for more information. Jim Caffrey was in charge of this project and it was very close to his heart. His wife, Josephine is going to continue it. When your cleaning out your garage and have a bike you no longer need do a good deed and call Jo.

Pub Quiz - March 8

8:00pm in the Pub with Quiz Master, Patricia (Byrne) Jurecko

Come and join us for some fun, and interesting trivia. There is a maximum of six people per team. The cost is only $5.00 per person. The winning team gets half of the pot, and the other half of the pot goes to the Club. There are five rounds each month, and one of them always covers history/facts related to that month. The other rounds vary and may cover science and nature, sports, music, history, and entertainment. Many other topics are covered as well. NO cell phones may be used to look up the answers.

Come out and enjoy the fun on Saturday, March 23 at 7:30 pm Playing is easy, something like bingo. Cost is $8.00/card and it includes three playing cards. The caller calls out cards from a standard deck of cards. The first person whose three cards are called shouts STEAK and wins two 8 oz. steaks. A total of 60 steaks will be given away. FISH FRY FRIDAYS
